My first visit to @Official.Chaiiwala in Dudley Located on the corner of a busy high street is a well decorated Indian Cafe offering a variety of breakfast & lunch options & what they call ‘a sip of the East’. Inside was really nice with loads of attention to detail. I had to try the Aloo paratha which is my usual go to. For the price I assumed it wouldn’t be a massive paratha like other places I’ve visited so I thought I’d get a side too. The crispy aloo pakoras were calling my name. The aloo paratha was… ok. It was cut into 4 & came with a mint yoghurt dip. The paratha wasn’t very filling & lacked a bit of spice. Overall it was ok. The aloo pakoras came with a tomato chilli dip. They were nice & crispy & the batter was well seasoned. I also tried the Karak Chai. I’ve tried this at a few places but for me it’s so sweet. Not really my ‘cup of tea’… (Dad joke, sorry 🤣) Overall it was a nice breakfast & somewhere I’d probably try again 🫖
